Terms of Service
Last updated: May 19, 2026
Welcome to Tendground. By using this website (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.
1. What Tendground is
Tendground is a curated marketplace that connects consumers with independent wellness service providers — multi-day retreats and local wellness experiences. Tendground itself does not provide any wellness, health, or medical service. All services advertised on the Platform are delivered by independent third-party providers.
2. Bookings
When you book a service through Tendground, you enter a contract directly with the independent provider. Tendground processes payment on the provider's behalf via Stripe Connect. The provider sets the service terms, including cancellation and refund policies, which are displayed on the provider's listing page.
Tendground earns a commission on each booking; the price displayed is the full price you pay, with no hidden fees added at checkout.
3. Cancellations and refunds
Each provider sets its own cancellation policy, displayed on their listing page before you book. To request a cancellation, contact the provider directly using the contact details on their listing, or reach Tendground at support@tendground.com and we'll help facilitate.
Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Tendground's platform commission is refunded proportionally to the customer when the provider issues a full refund.
4. No medical advice
Tendground does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or therapy. Content on the Platform — including editorial descriptions, provider listings, and journal posts — is informational only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. If you have a medical condition or are pregnant, consult your doctor before booking any wellness service.
5. User conduct
You agree not to: (a) misrepresent your identity; (b) use the Platform for fraud or any illegal purpose; (c) submit reviews you know to be false; (d) attempt to disrupt the Platform's operation; (e) scrape, redistribute, or republish Platform content without written permission.
6. Provider terms
Providers listed on the Platform must operate legitimate businesses with appropriate professional licensing (where applicable), maintain accurate listings, honor their cancellation policies, and respond to customer inquiries in a reasonable timeframe. Listing removal may follow material breach.
7. Intellectual property
The Tendground name, logo, editorial content, and curation are property of Tendground, Inc. Provider-supplied content (photos, descriptions, listings) remains the property of the respective provider, who grants Tendground a non-exclusive license to display it on the Platform.
8. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Tendground's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount of platform fees paid by or on behalf of you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Tendground is not liable for actions, omissions, or service failures of independent providers.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, with exception for small-claims matters.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
